100 Tacks & 100 Jibes Challenge
100 Tacks, followed by ten 360-degree turns, followed by 100 jibes. Most of my tacks were strap to strap to strap while wearing 8mm boots. I fell twice, and about 5 of my tacks were with a touchdown. Ten 360s in the row were flawless. My jibes were all without a touchdown, but I fell twice again. All jibes were strap to strap to in-front-of-a-back strap. I am not there yet for a strap to strap to strap jibes with boots. ☹️
A little disturbance in my track pattern that you can see after my 11th tack, was caused by an encounter with a Canadian Coast Guard vessel that we don’t see here all that often. I couldn’t let this opportunity pass by without checking them out. 😀
The wind was slowly dying on me during my exercise and a thunderstorm to the west was visibly approaching. I finished with less than 10kts. The first lightning warning showed up on my watch not more than 10 minutes after I had landed my kite. 😀 Well executed session, I’d say – no, actually, I just got lucky. It was lots of fun though! 1 hour and 40 minutes is the time to beat. I challenge you!
As Jason would summarize: 💪💪💪👌👌👌👍👍👍👻👻👻👊👊👊✌️✌️✌️😜😜😜
